The International Forum “The path to sustainable hydrogen production in Uzbekistan”

As part of the week of innovative ideas “InnoWeek-2023”, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, together with the UN Economic Commission for Europe, is hosting an international forum on the topic “The path to sustainable hydrogen production in Uzbekistan”.
It is attended by representatives of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Asian Development Bank, etc. Among the participants are representatives of such countries as Central Asia, the USA, Great Britain, Italy, Japan, China, India, Russia.

The forum discusses issues of hydrogen production in Uzbekistan and other Central Asian countries. Discussions will explore national low-carbon hydrogen production capacity and opportunities to increase this in the future and export hydrogen. It will also look at identifying areas with local demand for hydrogen, as well as identifying potential pilot project opportunities.
