The plenary session of the I International Forum of rectors of universities of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan is being held

Participants on the issues of cooperation between the two countries in the field of cultural-humanitarian and scientific-science are participating in it with their lectures

At the beginning of the conference, First Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan Komiljon Karimov, speaking with a report, emphasized that as a result of the reforms carried out in recent years in the higher education system of Uzbekistan, the number of universities has reached 211, including more than 30 branches of foreign higher educational institutions. 

It was also noted that today there are more than 90 inter-university cooperation agreements and memorandums between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Kyrgyz Republic, which serve as a solid basis for the contractual and legal basis of cooperation.

For information, today the Andijan State University is training personnel for bachelor's and master's degrees in the direction of “native language and literature: Kyrgyz language and literature”.
