
Compatriots abroad are ready to cooperate with scientists working in Uzbekistan.
On November 14, as part of the “InnoWeek-2024” International Week of Innovative Ideas, a roundtable discussion was held with the participation of compatriots engaged in scientific and innovative activities abroad.
During the discussion, prominent scientists and entrepreneurs shared their views on the scientific and technological development of the country and emphasized the importance of creating favorable conditions for joint research.
Topics such as launching joint projects and organizing internship programs for young researchers were also discussed.
In the field of technological startups and innovation, investors and business representatives focused on creating supportive conditions. Compatriots abroad expressed their readiness to support developing projects.
During the roundtable, Asqarali Karimov, a compatriot joining online from the United States, proposed establishing an engineering center for drainage systems in Uzbekistan. In response, Sharof Rajabbayev, head of the Agency for Innovative Development, supported the idea and suggested implementing the project at Samarkand State University.
