International seminar on “Utilization of prestigious international scientific databases and enhancement of the level of digital transformation of libraries”

As part of the International Week of Innovative Ideas “InnoWeek.Uz-2024”, an important seminar was held on the topic: “Utilization of Prestigious International Scientific Databases and Enhancement of the Digital Transformation Level of Libraries”.

The seminar was opened by Nodirjon Kholbutayev, Head of Department at the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The event was attended by representatives of scientific research institutes and higher educational institutions of our country, as well as specialists responsible for working with international scientific databases and foreign experts.

During the seminar, the opportunities for using various platforms and resources were thoroughly discussed. In particular, representatives of the “National Library of Uzbekistan” and international experts from Clarivate and MIKRO Information Handling and Distribution FZE delivered presentations on effective use of scientific databases, their management, and the application of digital technologies in these processes.

At the end of the event, a roundtable in a Q&A format was held, during which specialists provided answers to participants’ questions on relevant topics.

This seminar contributes to strengthening the cooperation between local and international libraries and enhancing the effective use of information resources necessary for scientific research.
