
“Innovative Development of Regions: Challenges and Solutions”
On November 16, 2024, as part of the “InnoWeek.Uz-2024” International Innovation Ideas Week, an international scientific-practical seminar titled “Innovative Development of Regions: Problems and Solutions” was held.
The event was officially opened by Sh.R. Rajabbayev, Director of the Agency for Innovative Development. The seminar gathered representatives of state and non-governmental organizations, deputy mayors responsible for innovation in innovative districts and cities, as well as young researchers, scientists, and specialists.
The main goal of the seminar was to discuss issues of scientifically grounded innovative regional development, to study international experiences, and to explore opportunities for their application in Uzbekistan.
Experts from Switzerland, Turkey, Bulgaria, and the World Bank took part in the seminar. Specialists such as Ruslan Lantsov, Asel Kalambayeva, Dr. Muhammad Sedat Kolchuoglu, and Vesselin Halachev shared their valuable knowledge and best practices.
During the event, the successful development of innovation ecosystems at city and district levels in countries like Spain and Turkey was discussed in detail.
More than 100 representatives of various organizations participated in the seminar. The event resulted in the identification of concrete steps for further innovative regional development in Uzbekistan and the establishment of new opportunities for expanding international cooperation.
